more stencil art

so, it seems like the "be free" stencil artist has been busy. i caught site of another one today, sorry the pic isn't great. was trying to take this before the traffic light went green...
i've had lots of great feedback about the last one i posted. so i then went in search of the artist who is behind these "be free" stencil/pasties.

no luck sorry. images to live by has a couple of posts about the same artist, in the same area, but that is all i can find.

needless to say i'll keep my eyes peeled, and my camera at the ready for the next installment!

nothing to do with anything

well, except graffiti and stenciling and knitting and jam and...

firstly: check this out! i rode past it yesterday and absolutely had to stop and take a pic

i love stencil art! and this one particularly - the cards are real. such a fabulous design! so i just had to share.

in other news, whilst i've been too busy to blog, i still have been finding scraps of time to get creative. i have put down the hook and picked up the needles for a bit - and learnt a new stitch - moss - its really easy and quite enjoyable and works perfectly with this wool.
don't you think? who knows, maybe this year i will get addicted to knitting!

i've also been making burnt fig emergency jam - its fig emergency time of year-

and in other other news - 6 weeks to go. woo hoo!

my creative space

it feels a bit like it has been all show and tell round at marjoryjane recently - i seem to be finishing projects left right and centre. so its almost nice to post my creative space with a still being finished project, its actually a project i have been finishing for about the last 12 months - but i really am starting to get there with it. its now tantilisingly close to done. i am loving stencil art - a new skill i am still learning, but its so so much fun! (and for a little bit of show and tell from last time i creative-spaced it up- you can find my finished sheet skirt post here) as always - join in with kirsty...

my creative space (heartless)

my creative spaces this week are heartless. despite being very excited about the heart treasure hunt when kirsty mentioned it last week, i completely forgot until after i had packed everything away (see i do try to occasionally pack up). this space is from my spare room, working on the base coat of what will eventually be a print for the wall just above my table - basically just above where it is now. and this space is back in the lounge room - my all compact and packed up crochet basket. now that i can crochet (she says smugly), i am trying to keep my grannies from spreading all over the house.play along with kirsty here...
